About KNH
OUR MISSION
To be a provider of patient-centered care by offering high quality, caring, home-like, long-term care services to its residents in an innovative, therapeutic, and safe environment where actions are directed to the ultimate good of the patient.
OUR VISION
To enhance the quality of life and well-being of those we serve and provide the best personal service with the utmost respect to our residents, clients, employees and those in the community that we serve.
Our Story
Kabul Nursing Home opened April 18, 1966. We are a 99-bed facility offering 24-hour skilled care, participating in Medicare and Medicaid programs.
Kabul Nursing Home is unique in that it is owned solely by the community. Due to the efforts of Dr. J. L. Spears, a committee was formed to investigate building a nursing home in Cabool. It was found to be feasible, and a not-for-profit corporation was formed in March 1965.
Our Team.
KNH Board of Directors
The by-laws of the corporation state that there will be a governing body of seven members from which representatives from local churches and civic organizations select the members at an annual meeting. Once elected, board members serve a 3 year term. Board meetings are held monthly to discuss the state of our facilities and review financial statements.
